Criminal Motions

A Criminal Motion is a procedure where the Plaintiff (government attorney) or Defendant (through his/her attorney) asks a Judge to grant relief under a provision of law. They typically involve research, a written motion supported by case law and hearing in front of the judge.

California criminal law recognizes a number of motions. Our practice includes Criminal Motions including Motion to Suppress Evidence Pursuant to PC § 1538.5, Motion to Dismiss Information Pursuant to PC § 995 and others.
